Today is Memorial Day, a day where we recognize those that have fought for our country’s freedom. We here at The OrganWise Guys want to thank those who have served in the military, as well as their families who share their loved one’s courage and bravery with all of us. So thank you from all of us, we hope you continue to stay safe and healthy!
Make sure and download the coloring sheet today with Hardy and the gang proudly carrying the American Flag. Let the kiddos have a coloring contest as part of your festivities! Oh, and Memorial Day is a great time to have your kids thank a service member and teach them to do so anytime they come into contact with one … it’s a great thing for kids to learn at a young age!

Summer is in sight! With that comes end-of-the-year school performances and awards banquets. Generally, kids earn awards based on certain talents and achievements they have obtained. We think this is fantastic! But we also think it’s a good idea to take other people’s feelings into account. The OrganWise Guys do just that by teaching kids consideration. Just because a kid may not be athletic, it doesn’t mean they can’t get the academic award! Or, you can even give out silly awards in the classroom, which gives kids who may not normally receive awards the chance to feel proud and appreciated! It’s important to teach your kids about gratitude. Teacher Appreciation Day is next month, but why do we have to wait until a certain day of the year to say thank you to the important people in our lives, who deserve appreciation and gratitude all year long? Why not teach your kids to be grateful and vocal about this gratefulness each and every day? Teach them about gratitude from an early age and show them how it can positively affect people’s lives. What a great life lesson to learn and carry out on a daily basis. It’s the little things that can make a big difference in someone’s life!

Hi ya!
Spring Break doesn’t just have to be about taking a vacation. Spending quality time at home together as a family can be just as fun. Take a few days off work and go through old family photographs and boxes of keepsakes to share special memories with your kids. The stories and memories the kids will gain from this quality time together will last a lifetime.

Hey everybody,
This past month was National Nutrition Month. How’d you do? Were you eating healthy and getting plenty of exercise every day? If you were, then way to go! If you didn’t, that’s okay, too. The new month starts in two days, so make April your own New Nutrition Month, or New-trition Month! There may be a day here or there where you don’t drink enough water or you eat an extra sweet, but don’t get down on yourself. Every day is a new day where you can eat nutritious, healthy foods! Oh, and make sure to download the coloring sheet and activity sheet for today!
