In honor of Teacher Appreciation Day, we called on you to share the creative ways that you incorporate The OrganWise Guys into your schools and communities. The chosen entry featured students at Lake Park Elementary (LPE) in Collier County, Florida, and was submitted by Joann Vukobratovich. She said Coach Eleazer & Coach V. can often be seen enjoying fitness activities with LPE students. We LOVED this idea of putting the “guys” on a frisbee! Check out the winning entry below:

Our OWG social media team asked me to share my ‘strategy’ for helping children feel good about themselves. Honestly, I have been putting this off as I really didn’t know where to begin and I am not quite sure I am an authority on this subject. I didn’t want to come off as a know-it-all or bragger. However, as I sat and pondered this, all that came to mind are my three sons who seem to be doing quite well in their lives and, more importantly, are also very happy, thriving, well-adjusted young men. We recently recieved some updates from Shea Wilson, a County Extension Agent with Prairie County Cooperative Extension Services in DeValls Bluff, AR. She has done a great job partnering with the cafeteria director to implement the Foods of the Month Curriculum.
