Give Back This Christmas

Well hey there!

Christmas is only one week away. While it is okay to be excited to get gifts, this time of year is also about giving back, any way you can. That’s why I have signed up with my school to wrap gifts at the local bookstore. When people buy a gift, they can stop by our wrapping station and we will wrap it up for them. The service is free, but we give any tips to a local charity, and since it is the giving season, we have made quite a bit of money. If there is any way you can give back to the community, you should! You’ll feel great, and make someone’s holiday season even brighter! Make sure and get your coloring sheet and activity sheet for today!

There's More to October

Well hey there,

Halloween is this week, and all anyone can talk about is costumes and candy. Amazingly, October has other food to offer besides candy. This month’s Foods of the Month are apples and winter squash. Have you had an apple this week? If not, then you’re missing out on a tasty treat! Have you snacked on some pumpkin seeds? No? Well get to it! Cook up those seeds after you carve your pumpkin. It’s harder to find pumpkins when Halloween is over. Remember, there’s more to October than just candy! Also, remember to get your coloring sheet for today!

Just Peachy

Well hey there!

This summer has been moving fast, and I want it to slow down. The obvious reason is because I love getting to hang out all day without having to worry about homework. The other reason is because fruit tastes even better during the summer! So many delicious fruits are “in season” during the summer months, which means, the fruit-bearing trees and plants are producing a lot of your favorite summertime snacks. I’ve been eating watermelon at picnics, plums with breakfast, and juicy peaches for snacks. Peaches and plums happen to be the Foods of the Month for August, so be sure to eat as many as you can before we say so long to them and summer! Make sure and get your coloring sheet for today!

Party in the Park

Well hey there!

I had an excellent holiday weekend. I spent July 4th at the local park with what seemed like the whole town! I ran into so many friends from school and so we got to hang out. There were bouncy castles brought in for us to play on and of course the playground that is always at the park. Everyone brought picnics to eat for dinner and then there was an incredible fireworks show for us to watch. Watching fireworks under the stars with your friends and family sure is a great way to spend a night. Don’t forget to grab your coloring sheet  for today!OWG_Blog_Art_7-7-14

Not Playing Favorites

Well hey there!

This month The OrganWise Guys have been discussing our favorite memories from the school year, but I don’t have just one. I have too many! This has been a fantastic year. I’ve made lots of new friends, made lots of new mistakes, and learned from it all! I can’t choose just one thing to write about, so I’m just going to say I am very happy that this year was so amazing, and I can’t wait to have another awesome school year next year! Make sure and get your coloring sheet for today!
