A huge thank you to the W.K. Kellogg Foundation for funding the new project called Thriving Communities, Thriving Children (TC2)! This fall, we had a blast kicking off The OrganWise Guys programming with early childcare/Head Start centers and elementary schools in Louisiana and Mississippi.

Today we feature guest blogger and Mississippi Body Walk Coordinator, Katie Bouchillon. She has been with Body Walk for over five years criss-crossing the state to bring the message of ‘being smart from the inside out’ to the K-5th graders all across Mississippi.
The Mississippi Body Walk is a larger-than-life walk through exhibit. At each of Body Walk’s ten stations, a volunteer presenter engages the students in a five-minute lesson with a hands-on activity focused on healthy choices.
