Well hello everyone,
The Olympics are almost here, and while many focus on the athletes and the number of medals each country will win, I have always wondered about one thing: Whydid they choose those colors for the Olympic rings? The colors are black, green, red, yellow, and blue, but why? Were they some king’s favorite colors that they put on the flag? Or were they chosen to represent different healthy foods and vegetables (which is what I was hoping)? The answer is that at least one of those colors appears in every country’s flag that participates in the games. Now I’m going to be keeping a sharp eye out to make sure all the flags I see have one of those colors in it!
