Well hello everyone!
I can’t believe our trip is almost over! We have made so many memories this summer, and I have to say, I think the craziest memory happened today. After a summer of driving cross-country and exploring all the wonderful parks, food, and activities that the different cities had to offer, we realized we hadn’t done something yet … go to a baseball game!! It’s one of The OrganWise Guys’ favorite sports, so of course we had to go to a game. We talked to Miss Goodhealth to see if we could go, and she thought it was a great idea. Luckily, she found some tickets that we could all afford, so we got to see the 2012 World Series Champions play. That’s right, we watched the San Francisco Giants in action!
The way those players were hitting that ball, it made me want to go home and practice right away! The plays they were making—diving catches, running to pop flies, tagging people out at home—it was incredible! But I have to say, the play of the game came when one of the Giants hit a foul ball.
You see, we were sitting there, enjoying the game, when all of a sudden a foul ball headed our direction. I looked up and the ball was falling towards me! I was so nervous about whether I could catch it, I felt like I was in knots (and it is never good for an intestine to feel that way)! But I kept my eye on the ball, put my hands up, and I caught it! The other OrganWise Guys all cheered and hollered! I even got to be on the Jumbotron! Man, what an exciting way for me to end our summer adventure!
