Hi-ya kids!
Today was a great one, and not just because we were surrounded by water! We spent the day at the Santa Monica Beach. We were sure to pack plenty of sunscreen, and even more of refreshing, ice-cold water to keep us hydrated throughout the day. The whole gang played freeze tag and tag football on the beach. Most importantly, we enjoyed some time in the big blue ocean. Under the watchful eye of Miss Goodhealth. we splashed around, enjoyed the waves, and even tried body-surfing (well, kidney-surfing).
Friends, fun, physical activity, and WATER! We couldn’t have planned a more enjoyable day if we tried! Now before bed, we hope you get our coloring sheet and activity sheet!

Hi-ya kids!
Stop number three was Little Rock, Arkansas! When we found out we were stopping here, we were very excited, as we thought the entire city was on a little rock! Newsflash: it’s not! Miss Goodhealth kindly informed us that Little Rock was named after a rock formation in the Arkansas River that served as a landmark for those traveling on the river. Cool, but definitely not the rock city we had imagined.
We mainly hung out at Riverfront Park. It was amazing! Tunnels, slides, swings, climbing wall and, best of all, a SPLASH FOUNTAIN! We spent all day playing in the sun, and when we got hot, we ran around in the fountain. As the day wound down, we stopped by the Clinton Library for a quick look around (and some air conditioning!). Now that we’re on the road again, we’re going to download the coloring sheet and have some fun. We hope you do as well!

Hi-ya kids!
They say April showers bring May flowers! Well, with the help of our parents, we decided to add water to some flour and make delicious low-fat PANCAKES this weekend. We made banana, blueberry, and even strawberry pancakes! All this was thanks to adding WATER to the pancake mix. Water really is an incredible thing, isn’t it? (more…)

Hi-ya kids!
We have a secret to tell you guys … We love water! Okay, we know that’s not a secret, but it’s true! We do love water! Do you know what else loves water? Plants! That’s why you have to remember to water them regularly. We know this may shock you, but plants are not the same as humans. By that we mean all plants don’t need water everyday (unlike people, who need to drink 6-8 glasses of water a day, in case you forgot). (more…)

March is National Kidney Month, so obviously that makes Sid and Kid Kidney (aka The Kidney Brothers) very happy. They just LOVE being the center of attention; so what better way to shower them with love, than by drinking ALOT of their favorite drink in the world … WATER! (more…)
