Well hello everyone,
I hope you’re all having a great St. Patrick’s Day. I know I am! To celebrate, our teacher let us have a party where we could only bring green foods. Can you guess which foods are green in color? Fiber-filled fruits and vegetables! Oh gosh, it is just so exciting! There were so many delicious green choices: pears, Granny Smith apples, broccoli, spinach, green beans, avocados, celery, peas, and more! Our parents helped us to prepare these fiber-ific foods in all sorts of delicious ways such as guacamole and spinach salad, for example. All that fiber is something an intestine could get used to (he he!). And in honor of St. Patrick’s Day, you all should eat lots of green fruits and veggies today (and everyday). Trust me, your intestine will say, “Top of the mornin’ to you!”
