Well hey there!
I’ve been spending a lot of time playing outside with friends since school ended. I sometimes feel like I run home to eat a healthy meal, and then I am out the door again for the next adventure. So yesterday, I decided to take a little break from all that. You see, I haven’t been helping out around the house as much as I usually do. And we had company over yesterday, so our house was a little bit messy. My parents started to clean up, and I decided I should help out too! They do so much for me, that I can pitch in by dusting off the tables and sweeping the floors, even when they don’t ask. They were very thankful for all the help. In fact, my mom was so pleased, she made one of my favorite meals, chicken with brown rice and steamed vegetables! While we ate, she told me how great it was for me to hang out around the house today and help clean up. She even got teary-eyed! Moms, I’ll never understand them. But I do know that they would probably love it if you help them out, so next time you see your mom (or dad) reaching for a broom, offer to sweep. They’ll love you even more for it! After you finish up, make sure you get today’s coloring sheet!
