A Tasty Smoothie Recipe!

Smoothies are great ways to get lots of vitamins and minerals while still benefiting from the fiber in fruits and veggies. Drink a smoothie for breakfast, a light lunch or a snack. Berries (a June Foods of the Month) make the perfect ingredient for smoothies. Check out our triple berry smoothie!

Triple Berry Smoothie


1/2 cup blackberries (fresh or frozen)

1/2 cup blueberries (fresh or frozen)

1/2 cup strawberries (fresh or frozen)

1/2 cup low-fat yogurt (try Greek yogurt for extra protein!)

1/2 cup skim milk

1/2 cup ice cubes


  1. Add all the ingredients to a blender and blend together until smooth.
  2. Pour into a cup and enjoy your refreshing OrganWise smoothie after some outdoor activities!
