Hi guys and girls,
I am so excited to tell you about last night. I went to a minor-league baseball game with my dad! The guys who play minor-league are working their way up so they can one day play in the majors, so they were REALLY good. It was a thrilling game, too. Our home team was behind by one run in the bottom of the ninth and there was a man on second base. The guy at bat already had two strikes. On the next pitch, he connected with it, but it was a foul ball. Guess what? I caught it! I was so excited that I almost missed his homerun on the next pitch! My team ended up winning the game with that homer. Then, following the victory, there was a fireworks show! I will definitely be asking my dad to take me to another game this summer, as I had so much fun. I had to remember to drink plenty of water that day and while at the game, because even though it was an evening game, it was still hot outside!
