Any Questions?

Hello hello,

Today in math class we were going over some pretty tricky word problems. As our teacher went over a few practice problems with us, I could see Samuel, who sits next to me, was getting really frustrated. He was near tears he was so upset. I could tell he wasn’t grasping it. So I told him to raise his hand and ask for help. He said he didn’t want to, that it was embarrassing. I understood where he was coming from. Admitting you don’t know what to do in front of the whole class is scary. So I asked for him. I simply asked the teacher to go over the first problem again, and really point out the tips we can use to make the problems a bit easier. Samuel just looked at me and said thanks. Then half the class looked at me and said the same thing! It turns out, a lot of the class was confused, but no one wanted to say anything! School is for learning; so if you have a question, ask! I was happy that I was able to help out my classmates today, and hope they can do the same for me in the future.

Talk to you later,
Calci
