Apple Pie Wraps

Earlier this month, we were so excited to participate in the 2013 National Parks and Recreation Annual Conference in Houston, Texas! At this conference, we shared our OrganWise cooking techniques with the audience and cooked up some healthy recipes on stage for all the participants to see.

Since apples are an October Foods of the Month, we knew we had to create something featuring this nutritious fruit. We decided to make these apple pie wraps, which are not only incredibly delicious, but also healthy!

Ingredients

2 whole grain tortillas
2 tbsp reduced-fat plain cream cheese
1 honey crisp apple, sliced
2 tsp honey
Sprinkle of cinnamon

Directions

  1. Spread the reduced-fat cream cheese on the whole grain tortilla then drizzle with the honey.
  2. Divide the chopped apples, and then add them to each tortilla.
  3. Sprinkle with cinnamon.
  4. Fold the left and right edge of the tortilla in, then wrap up the tortilla, starting at the bottom.
  5. Cut your wrap in half and enjoy!
