The weather has been so beautiful lately and getting outside makes me feel so healthy and strong. And not just when I exercise outside—even when I pull out my favorite book and read in the shade of a tree, the fresh air energizes me! The other day, while I was reading my book by the clubhouse, I noticed a large area for a garden. And guess what? It’s empty. I looked all around and saw the green grass and blooming flowers, but this little patch of earth is only dirt and weeds. Someone really needed to clean it up. So then I thought, “Wait a minute, WE should clean it up!” And ever since then, I can’t stop thinking about it. We could plant tomatoes and cucumbers and zucchini AND sunflowers and daffodils! Or apple seeds that could grow into a beautiful apple tree which other kids could enjoy too! The possibilities are endless. Tomorrow I am going to talk to Miss Goodhealth and see if she thinks it is a good idea. I’ll let you know how it goes! While I’m gone, make sure you get today’s coloring sheet!
