Celebrate National Public Health Week

Mark your calendars for April 1-7th because it’s National Public Health Week (NPHW)! We have been so fortunate to work with public health professionals over the years to make a difference in children’s lives. images

For the past 18 years, the first full week of April has been the week to celebrate all things public health. Now is the perfect time for your community to recognize the important public health issue of childhood obesity and make a goal to act upon it, whether it’s something small like cooking healthier meals for your children, or deciding to start a local nutrition education program for kids.

This year, the NPHW theme is “Public Health ROI: Save Lives, Save Money.” This highlights the importance of prevention (which The OrganWise Guys love!), as well as the importance of well-supported public health systems to save lives and prevent disease.

Be sure to celebrate each day of this important week with the daily themes, which can be accessed at the NPHW’s website by clicking here. We hope you have a great week!
