The end of March is just a few days away, and that means the end of National Nutrition Month. This month has been a great way to remind everyone that eating healthy can be fun and easy! The end of this month also means that we are one-fourth of the way through the year. Can you believe it? We’re already twenty-five percent done with 2012! So I figured now would be a great time to make sure I am leading a healthy lifestyles by making some health-related goals for the rest of the year. First, I want to make nutrition month every month by continuing to build on the healthy choices I have made all month. One food that I would like to eat more of is spinach, as it is a nutrient-rich food that keeps my body feeling great! My second goal is to do twenty jumping jacks every morning. It is an excellent way to get the blood flowing in the morning (and you know your heart loves to get the blood flowing!). I also plan to exercise my brain more by reading more often, even if it’s just five pages before I go to bed. And lastly, I want to make sure I give my parents a hug every day. It may seem silly, but hey, I’m a heart, and I like being filled with love!
