Exercise in the Morning, Noon or Night

Hola amigos!

Here’s the final OrganWise resolution. I’m sure you all know what it is since you are all muy intelligente (that’s Spanish for “very intelligent”). Resolution number Four is to make sure you exercise! We all know how important it is to eat right and drink water, but you can’t forget to get your body moving. The best part of exercising is that there are so many options; going for a walk, sit-ups, jump roping, playing basketball or hitting tennis balls. Even when I unload groceries from the car, I do bicep curls with the bags to sneak in a little extra muscle building. I also have a tip to get in some exercise and help me wake up in the morning. You see, if I am ever feeling extra cansada (“tired”) in la mañana (“the morning”), I do twenty jumping jacks to help get my body going. And to wake my mind up, I count by two’s or three’s, which helps me with my multiplication tables. After those jumping jacks, my heart is racing, my brain is alert, and I am ready to take on the day! So next time you’re feeling a bit groggy in the morning, try a few jumping jacks and see if that helps!  Don’t forget to get my coloring sheet!OWG_Blog_Art_1-16-12
