Hi-ya kids!
April usually means enjoyable spring weather, and yesterday did not disappoint! Flowers were in bloom, the sun was out, and there was a slight breeze to keep you comfortable. So what did we do? We sat on the couch eating cookies and watching TV all day. APRIL FOOL’S! We got outside and enjoyed the beautiful spring day! We decided to head over to the garden we made with Miss Goodhealth last year and water the plants. Hey, we love water and wanted to make sure the plants could enjoy some too! So we grabbed our watering cans and some water bottles for ourselves, of course, and made sure those plants were hydrated! Once all the plants were watered, we decided to head home for lunch. Just as we were leaving, Pepto and his family were coming to the garden for a picnic, and they invited us to join them! They had more than enough food to share, like turkey sandwiches on whole wheat bread, apple slices, carrot sticks, and granola bars. It was a ton of fun AND we would have missed out on it if we really had sat inside all day watching TV.
So whether is it is a beautiful spring day or cold and snowing, just get outside and have fun! After you come in, you can get our coloring sheet for today!
