Well hey there!
For me, 2013 is going to be all about getting to know more people! So my goal is to, once a week, eat lunch with a different classmate. A lot of the time, I end up sitting in the same seat every day at lunch, talking to the same friends. Really, there’s nothing wrong with that. I like my friends, but there are so many kids I don’t really know! So that’s why, every Wednesday, I am going to ask to eat lunch with a different classmate. If they say ‘no,’ that’s okay, I can just go back to my normal lunch crew. But so far, they’ve all said ‘yes!’ I’ve learned some pretty cool things about my classmates. For instance, my new friend Logan has lived in Germany! His dad is in the army, and he was stationed there for a little bit. And Natalie, she has her own business! She makes necklaces with her parents and sells them at craft fairs. I’m really enjoying branching out. Everyone has an interesting story to tell, and I’d like to hear it!
