Entrepreneurs, businesswomen, negotiators, event speakers, wives and moms. These are some of the terms that have been used to describe our founders, Michelle Lombardo and Karen McNamara. Of all the roles they’ve taken on in the past twenty years, none has been quite as challenging (or rewarding) as the role of ‘mom.’ We all know what it’s like to try to raise healthy kids while managing a very busy life, so starting this month, we are launching a new feature for our blog – Tips from Our House. Every Tuesday, we’ll share some of the lessons our whole team has learned along the way. We don’t claim to be perfect; we’ve struggled just like everyone else but we are excited to share our lessons with you and to hear your feedback along the way!
Today we wanted to introduce you to our moms. As a small company, half our employees balance carpool and contracts in the same day!

Michelle is the veteran mom of the team. She’s raised 3 boys – Zach (25), Anthony (24), and Nick (20). From starting a business with 3 kids under the age of five to cheering on the football team at her youngest son’s college games, Michelle has had to learn the balance between career and family!
Karen McNamara, Vice-President
Karen started the organization as a single woman, met her husband Joe and went on to have three children, Liam (14) Shea (12), and Reilly (8) all while building a business. You’ll find her at her computer before most of us crawl out of bed so she can put in a full day’s work before running carpool in the afternoon.

Maria White, Account Supervisor and Community Manager
Maria has been with The OrganWise Guys since 2005. She’s the mom of the yougest children on the team, Abigail 3 and Wesley 8 months. Maria’s learning the balance between work, family and taking time for mom!
Julie Green
Julie Green, Conference Coordinator
Julie has been working with The OrganWise Guys since 2008. She is the proud mamma of two very active kids – Taylor, 16 and Marin, 12.
