Well hey there,
This weekend would have been great, except for one little problem … me! It’s like I left my manners at school when I came home this weekend. I wasn’t saying “Please,” “Thank You,” “Sir,” or “Ma’am.” I was saying rude things like “I want this,” “Give it to me,” and “Now!” Where was my patience? Where was my respect? Where were my good manners? I don’t know, but I sure wanted to find them.
The first thing I did was apologize to my parents last night for being less than nice all weekend. Maybe I was tired, or maybe I was in a bad mood, but it wasn’t anyone’s fault, and I certainly shouldn’t be rude to other people. This week I’m going to really make sure I mind my manners.
