Hi there,
Today is “Make Your Dream Come True Day.” I didn’t know it was even a thing until Friday, when our teacher told us to think about what our dream was over the weekend. I think it’s a fantastic holiday, as everyone should have their dreams come true! But as I was thinking about it this weekend, I realized my dream is already coming true! I want to help kids lead a healthier life, and that’s exactly what The OrganWise Guys are doing! Hi there,
I love this time of year! I love all the music, the weather, and the sweet Christmas tree smell in our house! Tonight we are actually going to get our Christmas tree. It’s my turn to pick out the tree, so I will be looking for one that not only looks great, but smells like Christmas; that’s if Christmas had a smell, of course :). Hi there,
Yesterday, after school, I went to plant some flowers in The OrganWise Guys garden. I know what you’re thinking, “What needs to be planted in the fall?” The answer is bulbs! Bulbs are beautiful flowers that need to be planted in the cool soil so they can bloom in the spring. So I braved the wind and freezing temperatures … okay, it was really a light breeze with a slight chill in the air, but I was still proud of myself for getting outside and tending to the garden in November! This Sunday is the beginning of fall, my favorite season. There is so much to love about fall: the leaves change colors, Halloween, football games, Thanksgiving, crunchy leaves, pumpkins, and cool weather. What’s not to love? Hi there!
This year, I made it my goal to stay on top of my math skills. After a long, busy summer break, I fell a little behind on practicing math. We are already starting up on some new stuff in school, so I was starting to feel a little worried. The good news is we haven’t had much homework, so I have been using the extra time in the afternoon to go over my multiplication tables. Sometimes, even if there’s no homework, do a little extra work on your own, whether it’s math, spelling, or just some reading. It will pay off in the long run!
